I try to report sources with all available detail. What I know of alternate titles or multiple publications is given. For comic strips, dates of original publication are listed if I have them.

I also try to track the locations of quotes within the sources. Chapter references (numbers and headings, but not synopses) appear if possible. Act and scene numbers (if any) are provided for quotations from plays.

I try to be diligent about copyright, listing all information in my possession, and seeking out newer editions if I believe my source is outdated. However, my failure to document copyright in any particular case cannot be considered evidence that none exists.

I have put this project online to promote interest in these works, not to infringe on the rights of any author. I believe this constitutes “fair use.” However, if I am notified of objections by any author or other owner of copyright, or their agents, I will apologetically but otherwise gladly make changes to satisfy them. (This offer specifically excludes items quoted for critical purposes; I am not agreeing to be censored or to cover anyone’s tracks.)
